How does tenor work with teachers/educators?
Q. I know tenor makes it difficult for teachers who have been with the school a long time to get fired, but how exactly does this work?

A. If she's a soprano or alto, it's better. Real answer: Academic tenure is primarily intended to guarantee the right to academic freedom: it protects teachers and researchers when they dissent from prevailing opinion, openly disagree with authorities of any sort, or spend time on unfashionable topics. Thus academic tenure is similar to the lifetime tenure that protects some judges from external pressure. Without job security, the scholarly community as a whole might favor "safe" lines of inquiry. Tenure makes original ideas more likely to arise, by giving scholars the intellectual autonomy to investigate the problems and solutions about which they are most passionate, and to report their honest conclusions. Should the liberal educators who swayed students to pro Obama views be punished?
Q. If they had been encouraging students to be pro mccain would they have gotten away with it? Educators are not paid to put their views into our childrens heads, if you think they are, you are not familiar with the job description. gdsb...wow, lot's of big words.

A. Many tout that if you have control over a child until the age of nine, they will continue on that path for life. Even Hitler & a Pope used a B_stardization of "a child until the age of seven will be a man at nine.", for their individual motives. Young is liberal because they've been protected/escorted so far. They turn more towards the conservative as time progresses (hopefully), because of their ability/inability to cope alone, they know (or should realize) if they don't survive, there will be no opinion to express. After that they mellow into what is enough, and the cycle repeats back to liberal(ish). No concerns Self concerns All concerns Why it needs to come to us in extremes instead of all at once, is being played out every day in… [cont.]

What would be a good meesage to educators and genral public regarding education?
Q. message (sorry)

A. My message to educators would be to take responsibility and don't hide behind a union. You should be paid based on performance, like practically everyone else. When you mess up, you leave. Teach your students about personal accountability beginning in the classroom. Good education begets good citizens. Let's start doing that soon...please. To the parents of students my message would be one that addresses parental guidance. You should be smarter than your twelve year old child. If you cannot help them with their homework, you need to go back study enough to get beyond their level, so that you may tutor them if the situation arises. Don't worry about sports. Unless your child ends up being a professional athlete, there is little… [cont.]
