Haverhill Staging Answers

I'm looking for Haverhill Staging graduates or current students. Any luck to be hired?
Q. I completed all assignments 8 weeks ago and still no feedback. Since my enrollment in April their terms are totally changed. No assistance, no instructions, no obligations. I can't get money back unless I completed the course but they won't let me to. All those ads lead to trickery. Shameless collecting of money from naive job seekers.

Haverhill staging course. Is the course accredited and registered? Is it's Certificate recognized?
Q. Re: Haverhill staging course. Daren avoids to answer the tricky question if the course is accredited and registered? Is it's Certificate recognized? Many promises given, too good to be true. How Haverhill assists in locating real customers for trainees staging assignments? This is the major problem for me and it doesn't mean I'm not a "doer' as he said.

A. My thoughts are to spend the extra money on the Ann Maurice in-conference course and buy lots of books. In-class courses are best.

Haverhill Institute of Staging, QC Design School, or Sheffield School?
Q. Does anyone know anything about any of these schools? I would like to take one of these online courses, but I can't seem to find too much info on any of them. I am very skeptical of a distance education course. I already have a degreee, but I am looking for a new career path. Please feel free to leave your comments, suggestions, and knowledge. Thanks!

A. I have taken two staging courses The Staging Diva (which is good, because not only do you learn the rules of staging, but you learn how to start up your business) and I have taken the Sheffield course in interior decorating I liked them both very much. Both have served me well to success in my business.

Have you gone through the Haverhill Home Staging course?
Q. I am interested in home staging as a career as I have a knack for interior decor. I was looking at the Haverhill Home Staging course. Has anyone been through this course? If so, have you had success? What was your experience? Do you recommend it? Note: PLEASE do not advertise other courses to get my credentials in home staging. I'm only asking about Haverhill right now

What percentage of people are able to graduate from the Haverhill staging course?
Q. I've been reading the fine print on the Haverhill website and it seems they only guarantee employment to students who manage to graduate. So there is no money-back guarantee if you don't graduate. It seems like they do a lot to keep people from graduating, like how you only have two months to do your course sections. You also have to get 80% or higher on the final exam. What if they just "choose" to not award anyone 80% or higher? And you have to stage several houses on your own too. I guess I just want to know if people are really graduating from the course.

A. I will let you know. I just finished all the assignments. I need to attend the class via internet or in person and then take a test. They better not tell me that I did not pass.

A. Hi, I am not familiar with the Haverhill Home Staging course so I cannot comment on their reputation, but I am a member or the following international group. I highly recommend looking into them as an alternative choice. Their courses are very informative and once you become a member, you will receive all the support you need in all areas of redesign and staging and this includes: business forms, pricing, decorating tips, paint suggestions, marketing tips, insurance, etc. They have annual conferences too. Whatever your needs are, they will be there for you to help you along with your journey via direct email or through the forum. All the members are willing to share. Your neighbors are not your competitors but your supporters. Please check… [cont.]

A. It is! What they don't tell you on the site is that after you've paid in full, you have to go find several homes to stage as part of your first exercises on your own...I cancelled after finding this out and lost my 'processing' fee of $250.00

A. Yep, I'm taking the course right now. My course materials recently came and I just got started. So far so good. Did you have specific questions? I'm pretty much learning about the company as I go. I did a lot of googling and research prior to enrolling, but decided to step out there and give it a try.

A. Nicki, no I haven't, but I've looked at their website too. It's only a 5 day course, so cannot be too intense. Not sure about them hiring, the site does state: Description: This intensive hands-on training program is designed to supply you with the skills, knowledge and confidence to assist you in the start-up phase of your own redesign & home staging business. Realistically, they couldn't hire everyone who completes their course. Why not do it, if it interests you?
